Rules

COURTESY RULE

Try to keep the game drama-free. If you have an issue, please take it to the moderators and we can try to sort things out in a mature manner. If you're having problems with another player, discuss it in private, whether by personal messaging or otherwise. Do not bring drama into the IC roleplay, and do not dump it on any of our comms. Try to be mature, courteous, respectful, and use common sense, and we won't have any problems.

CONSENT RULE

This rule is to prevent godmodding, powerplaying, metagaming and the like. Due to the nature of the game and the wide distribution of magical powers to the characters, we expect you to use common sense when your characters are interacting with one another. The consent rule dictates that no one may control another player's character without their consent (this includes 'assuming' an injury or death to have taken place, etc.). We expect you to roleplay fairly, which means using common sense and courtesy when playing out fights or drama.

Players concerned about this should fill out a permissions post on their character journal. We also ask that players check for these for all characters involved before initiating anything permissions-relevant in a roleplay.

ACTIVITY RULE

Activity checks will be held at the beginning of each month. We have a two-strike system in place for missing activity checks (to prevent people 'sitting on' a character forever), and missing two checks in a row will result in that character being taken off the roster, meaning you'll no longer be allowed to play that character unless you re-app next round. Succeeding a check will wipe your strikes for a clean slate.

The activity checks themselves work on a points system. You will require 20 points per character per month in order to pass the check.

• A journal is worth 5 points.
• A single comment/reply is 1 point (combo-replies are grouped to count as 1 point, no matter how many there are.)

If you require time off for whatever reason, e.g. due to holidays or otherwise being busy, please call a hiatus or slowatus in the OOC comm. We pay attention! If you call a hiatus, the generic IC reason is that they got lost in the subways, though you're welcome to come up with another reason if you prefer.

CONTENT RULE

You must be 15+ in order to play here. That said, all content should stay around the PG movie rating. Ultraviolent content should be agelocked, and sexual content should not take place in our communities - if you absolutely must, do it in private and keep it to yourselves and between characters aged 18+. We don't want to hear about it.

Anyone caught breaking these rules will be asked to cease. Continuing, or repeating the offence later, will get you kicked from the game. Mods reserve the right to delete content that breaks this rule.
